I’m Julia, a UX/UI Designer and Creative who believes design should make people feel something. I actually began my journey in the sciences — originally exploring medicine before transitioning into computer science. But no matter what path I took, I was always drawn to creativity and curiosity — whether it was designing posters in high school or experimenting with art. When I discovered UX/UI Design, I realized I didn’t have to choose between the two — I could blend empathy, design, and logic to create experiences that truly connect with people. I realized I wanted to be the one creating those moments, not just implementing someone else’s vision.

UX/UI design clicked for me because it blends creativity and empathy. In other words, it’s about solving real problems, understanding people’s needs, and designing experiences that make daily life easier. It also gives me the freedom to design smarter, not just prettier. From full interfaces to microinteractions, I love building designs that are functional, intentional, and meaningful — all while using my technical background to bring ideas to life.

Outside of design, I love exploring cafes for matcha, crocheting, journaling, and watching my favorite comfort shows. I find inspiration in everyday moments — whether it’s textures in nature or color palettes from books. I also really love stuffed animals (can you tell??)
